On 9 July 2015 an agreement was signed between the Mazowieckie Voivodeship (which acts as the Managing Authority of the ROP MV) and the City of Warsaw, based on which the City of Warsaw was entrusted the tasks of the Intermediate Authority within the instrument Integrated Territorial Investments of the ROP MV for 2014-2020. Therefore, the representatives of the City of Warsaw will actively participate in the respective stages of investment implementation, including cooperation on creating detailed criteria for competitions announced under the ROP MV 2014-2020 and participation in the selection of experts for the assessment of proposals. The agreement was signed by Member of the Board of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship Wiesław Raboszuk and Deputy Mayor of Warsaw Michał Olszewski. All voivodeships must include a new mechanism in their regional operational programmes – the Integrated Territorial Investments, aimed primarily at developing a mechanism of territorial coordination for the programming and implementation of measures.
The funding amount awarded for the implementation of projects under the ITI in Masovia is EUR 165.8 million, i.e. approx. PLN 700 million under the ROP MV 2014-2020. The funding will also include additional resources from operational programmes at the national level (e.g. IEOP).
Mieszkańcy, przedstawiciele organizacji pozarządowych, środowiska nauki i biznesu Obszaru Metropolitalnego Warszawy brali udział w konsultacjach on-line dokumentu Strategia Rozwoju Obszaru Metropolitalnego Warszawy do roku 2030. Strategia Rozwoju Obszaru Metropolitalnego Warszawy do roku 2030 zostanie zaprezentowana w sierpniu 2015, podczas konferencji zamykającej projekt Programowanie Rozwoju Obszaru Metropolitalnego Warszawy-PROM, współfinansowanego ze środków Unii Europejskiej w ramach Programu Operacyjnego Pomoc Techniczna 2007-2013.
Głównym celem opracowania Strategii Rozwoju Obszaru Metropolitalnego Warszawy do roku 2030 jest wskazanie pożądanych kierunków rozwoju tj. wypracowanie wspólnej misji i wizji obszaru oraz wskazanie strategicznych kierunków działań, które umożliwią ich realizację. Dokument stanowić będzie narzędzie do planowania strategicznego oraz upowszechniania wiedzy o działaniach podejmowanych w ramach Obszaru Metropolitalnego Warszawy.

Podsumowanie warsztatów strategicznych
The work on the document “The Strategy for the Development of the Warsaw Metropolitan Area” comprise another stage of the project “Programming the Development of the Warsaw Metropolitan Area” co-funded under the Technical Assistance Operational Programme 2007-2013, and its main objective is to diagnose the area constituting the Warsaw Metropolitan Area and to identify the required development directions for the respective strategic areas. The document “The Strategy for the Development of the Warsaw Metropolitan Area” is a tool for planning and disseminating knowledge, pointing to the strategic objectives of the metropolitan area in the perspective until 2030.
W związku z trwającymi pracami nad Strategią Rozwoju Obszaru Metropolitalnego Warszawy do roku 2030, w dniu 25 marca 2015 r. o godzinie 08.30 odbędzie się dodatkowy warsztat strategiczny, dedykowany mieszkańcom, przedstawicielom jednostek samorządów terytorialnych, organizacjom pozarządowym, środowisku naukowemu oraz przedsiębiorcom z Obszaru Metropolitalnego Warszawy, którzy nie mogli uczestniczyć w sesjach zrealizowanych w dniach 05 – 12 marca 2015 r. Warsztat będzie miał miejsce w siedzibie Deloitte Consulting S.A., w Alei Jana Pawła II 19.
Podczas warsztatów uczestnicy będą wspólnie wypracowywać misję i wizję rozwoju OMW, a wymiana opinii i oczekiwań pomiędzy różnymi grupami interesariuszy pozwoli na wskazanie pożądanych kluczowych priorytetów i kierunków działań. Zapraszamy do aktywnego udziału w tym wydarzeniu. Liczba uczestników warsztatu jest ograniczona. O możliwości uczestnictwa decyduje kolejność zgłoszeń. Mayor of Warsaw Michał Olszewski has extended his invitation to the meeting inaugurating project work on the document “The Development Strategy for the Warsaw Metropolitan Area until 2030”, held on 26 February 2015 at 1 p.m. in Pałac Ślubów (Wedding Palace) (Plac Zamkowy 6, Warsaw). The meeting will be attended, in addition to the representatives of local government bodies covered by the Warsaw Metropolitan Area, employees of the City of Warsaw and Deloitte Consulting S.A.
