Due to the new division of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship into two statistical regions, the Statistical Office in Warsaw together with the City of Warsaw prepared the second edition of the publication describing the socio-economic situation of the Warsaw capital region.
Due to an increase in significance of urban functional areas in the national and EU policy and measures for integrated development, the publication also presents indicators for the Warsaw Functional Area encompassing the communes in which the Integrated Territorial Investments instrument is in place.
