The sustainable mobility plan for the Warsaw Functional Area is aimed at further tightening of cooperation between communes, in line with the European Commission guidelines included in the document \u201cA concept for sustainable urban mobility plans\u201d. The mobility plan integrates communes\u2019 activities around a common goal \u2013 improvement of residents\u2019 mobility, simultaneously providing them with services meeting their needs near their place of residence and stimulating sustainable economic growth of the Warsaw Functional Area<\/strong>. At the same time, the Mobility Plan responds to the specific development challenges in the area associated with the continuous growth of the number of residents and residential areas, as well as the need to coordinate spatial and transport development<\/strong>.<\/p>\n In its hierarchy of goals, the Mobility Plan promotes and coordinates a number of soft and hard measures facilitating dynamic economic development, ensure mobility, and protect residents from the negative effects of transport.
